Experience Lab: discovering the villages of Cava de’ Tirreni through excursions.

The “Experience Lab” training course – of which we have talked here – was characterized not only by lessons aimed at developing specific skills but also by practical activities aimed at discovering more about the territory of Cava de’ Tirreni and the beauty it has to offer to both its tourists and citizens.

The participants had the chance to learn more about Cava de’ Tirreni through a series of excursions to explore the villages of the town, which are often less-known but rich in history and works of art.

These excursions – planned by the “Regional Planning” course coach – have focused on the villages of “Rotolo” (with a visit to the Church dedicated to St. John the Baptist), the village of “Dupino”, “Marini” and “Alessia” (with a visit respectively to the church of St. Nicholas of Bari, St. Mark the Evangelist and St. Joseph). The participants were tasked to gather historical information and interesting facts about the different villages and their churches and to share them during the excursion to stimulate the research of information and public speaking skills.
